He has been serving as the Medical Director at Harmony Life Hospice Inc. since 07/2022, an Internal Medicine Physician-Hospitalist at Epic Medical Group, Inc. from 05/2013 to present, and previously at Mid Valley Pulmonary Medical Group, Inc. from 09/2008 to 05/2013.

Dr. Liakhovetski has a robust educational background that has equipped him with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in his profession. He completed his PFY-2 Residency at Our Lady Of Mercy Medical Center and earned his Diploma of Doctor of Medicine from Odessa State Medical University. Dr. Liakhovetski graduated with a BSc in Human Biology from the University of Toronto in 1995 and obtained his Diploma of Doctors Assistant from Odessa Medical College in 1989.

His commitment to serving his community extends beyond his professional career. He has volunteered with the Red Cross in Ukraine and contributed to the fight against SARS at North York General Hospital in Canada.

Dr. Liakhovetski has been involved in various research projects, further enhancing his medical expertise. He has worked in the Department of Immunobiology at Odessa State Medical University as a Head Researcher under Professor Bajhora Y., focusing on the immunopathology of the digestive system. Additionally, he participated in research on the physiology of cell division at the University of Toronto under Head Researcher Professor DL. Boni and conducted research on alcohol abuse and serum Mg levels at Our Lady Of Mercy Medical Center under the supervision of Dr. Laviton.
